Puppies can come in for a first groom starting at 8 weeks old, with their vaccine records. Starting between 8 and 16 weeks helps most puppies get used to the bath, the dryer, and being handled.
For a first visit we suggest Puppy Splash & Play. It is a short, gentle visit with lots of praise, so your puppy learns that grooming is a happy thing.
What to bring:
- Your puppy's vaccine records
- A leash
- A note about anything that worries your puppy, like loud dryers or having paws touched
Being honest about your puppy's behavior helps us plan the visit. Stay calm at drop-off. Puppies pick up on how you feel.
